Well, IMHO, it isn't going to get much better for you, then. That's how I felt at four hours as well as forty. But again, you might find otherwise. >_>

It gets better once you get access to more paradigms and skills, but if you don't like it now it's very unlikely that you'll suddenly find it great later on.

I watched the first half of an LP of the game and it's absolutely abysmal for the first for hours aside from raw graphics.

You have actually watched more like 80% of it from what I've gathered, LMS.

I did not enjoy it at all my first go at it, but after I picked it back up I enjoyed it a lot more and finished it....but it still wasn't great.
