How should they have lost to Portugal today, anyway? Because Ronaldo bottled the big chance? That's expected. Things going to the norm. Something happening normally doesn't mean Spain "should have lost". Better team in the 90 and in the 120.

Failed tournament for him, too. Bottled the biggest game (as per) and didn't accomplish a goal-per-game record, meaning he played below his usual standard and let Portugal down as a result.

Also Germany/Spain will be a close deal. Spain are the safe bet for me, though.

That said Germany tend not to beat Italy in big games so it's not like Germany have that matched locked up.

They were better in the extra times but Portugal were good in the first half and level with them in the second. Also should've had a penalty when Ramos fouled Ronaldo in the box.

That was a difficult chance for anybody, even Ronaldo. Would you blame him if he'd hit a decent shot on target, but right down Casillas' throat? And somebody scoring free-kicks will never be expected. Even Juninho P was never expected to score.
