Today's Character With Mass Effect 3's Extended Cut being released a couple days ago, I figured that was as good of an excuse as any to do another character from the series. The Illusive Man is the master of finding shades of gray, but there are no shades of gray with DYLTC! How will he do?

I had an amusing back-and-forth twitter dialog with one of the producers the other day which led to some excellent results. I buggered him about who the "General" one of the Cerberus agents in an ME1 mission is referring to, since The Illusive Man is never referred to by that title in any known documents. He was like, "do you have any suggestions? lol" so I recommended General Petrovsky from that (surprisingly OK) Aria comic, and he went, "OK, sounds good!"
Clearly the implication was that he didn't really have an answer and wanted to make me feel empowered. But I will forever take that as canonization. Sounds good to me.

...for some reason I always get the Shadow Broker and the Illusive Man mixed up. Like, I know they aren't the same person, and I don't get the characters confused, but I definitely mix up the names.

I like him enough, think his voice acting was great, but his ME3 plot being a retread of Saren was incredibly boring and disappointing.. Still enough good in ME2 to warrant a 'yes', but it's on the fence.
