Really haven't looked too deeply into this game but I'm definitely thinking of expanding my 3DS collection (so far I only have 6 retail games, but I do have roughly 12 or so downloaded games), and if that assumption is correct, I think it could be a great addition.

It has some EBA like sections, but it isn't entirely FF meets EBA.

I was planning on getting this as well (full version actually). I have a friend in Europe who already got it and she had nothing but good things to say about it except that it was a bit on the short side.

Looks EBAish, but not exactly EBA. Definitely looks good to me.

It's its own thing. There's a certain amount of "just tap", a certain amount of "slide quickly in a direction" and a certain amount of "follow a slider path" but it's different from EBA because the notes are on the top screen, so for the slider you just slide up and down.
