"The Bum Bum Song" is unironically a better, more intelligent, and sexier song than "Summer Girls."

That song is the absolute nadir of pop music throughout the history of mankind. Even if the girl I picked up is happy to hear it I'd be too busy dry heaving to care. Survival instincts trump sexual desire and that song is actively trying to make people have an aneurysm.

It is quite literally a contender for my least favorite thing in existence.

(Speaking of Prince I watched Purple Rain last night and it's still the best movie starring a musician. Suck it 8 Mile. The final rap battle is good, but Prince doing that version of Purple Rain is unfriggintouchable)



Summergirls is objectively the worst lyrical performance in the history of music. Me and a friend once spent a 4 hour car ride trying to make it make sense and it just doesn't. Like I said, it's the Varsity Blues of Pop Music: So bad that it transcends badness and becomes great.
