Alright, decided to go ahead and end the festival. Got everything except finding the fifteen choco-chicks, and bought a coeurl whisker and magnetron. Could've stuck around for a sky gemstone, but I'll just have to keep an eye out for that when playing the main game.

Damn 120 better be the permanent cap. Under no circumstance am I EVER leveling higher than this. f***ing 1,000,000 plus per level from 99-120.

Yup. So I have all my moogle charms equipped, and the double food, and when I get 9
Million, I'll go to Altissa and triple it, and that'll do it. But still, the number is insane. 26 million is probably 8 times what it took to get from

Just got my Sturdy Helixhorn and turned it in. Now to do a couple quests and then I may finally be ready to meet up with Iris in Lestallum.

Health went up about 8% I think I got like 26 on steenth and other stats. MP about 10%, and Ap went up 312

It took about 13 real time hours.

Turns out it is doable at this point. Needed lots of mega potions, which luckily those cactuars drop in droves. Also almost entirely warp strikes, with the occasional link. Got a D on time but A+ on everything else.

Killed the Midgar Zolom when I found it by accident. Crafted a few quintcast blizzagas to nuke it down (along with an unfortunate group of imperials that also showed up), but man it wasn't easy. I was in the low 30s in levels. And of course, the thing showed right back up shortly afterwards. And of course, the next main quest is to go to a cave behind the waterfall..........where the thing is.

Did the thunder bird hunt (9..........thunderocs? I think that's what they're called), and holy **** was that annoying. There were also 3 giraffe rams (Arbas I think), so that was annoying also. Didn't help that I got there close to nighttime, so when darkness fell, became even more ridiculous.

Nah, just fly around like giant pieces of ****, shooting lightning stuff at you, and then flying crazily away. Warp striking is the key of course, but then Noct free falls a million feet and hurts himself. Wasn't a pleasant fight.

So, if I'm in chapter 5, just setting out, how long do you reckon it would take to reach chapter 11 and do the timed hunt? I'm level 49 with Noct's Ultima and Ragnarok, so I don't expect much of the actual combat to be problematic.

I haven't done the mega malboro thing yet. Hadn't played much since the many cactuar battle and suddenly realized this one is supposed to end very soon.

You can only target his face, and in the entire fight his horn did not break.

For anyone who has not, if you plan to buy the DLC episodes, just buy the season pass. It's only gonna be 5 dollars more than the episodes individually, and my god Ragnarok is awesome, as are the AP increasing accessories, and I love the mariachi (so) outfit.


And it got me a Wind Up Lord Vexxus after 3. I'm gonna farm this thing.

Literally, unless they have a timed hunt where you can farm Magitek suit V2s (God let me have one where I can farm V2s.,.. please SquareEnix.)there is not anything better we can ever ever ever farm. You can argue the Hunters Medal or Adamantite, because they also give you a crazy ammount of Limit magic, that's really powerful.... but each of those only sell for 50,000, these sell for 500,000!!!..
