Digi didn't find out about this until his parents had defaulted on the loan and the creditors were knocking at his door. It was a big debt. He had no way of paying. Eventually he managed to strike a deal with the creditors, via a state-run debt assistance program, whereby he would pay off part of the debt in exchange for them forgiving the rest of it. His credit is shot, but at least he'll be free. Digi is still on decent terms with his parents, and lends them money for gas and other necessities. To anyone who says "Seriously?? Why don't you cut them off??" he says, simply, "They're still my parents." I think Digi is also the one who had to flee his home because of bedbug infestation, which was quite possibly an even greater nightmare than the whole debt thing. But things are looking up. He's got a steady job as a writer for an online sports magazine. He's engaged (married?) to tabiicat, a professional chef, which means he eats way better than you or me. Board 8 Some people seek the spotlight, arguments, drama, stuff like that. Digi does not. When the spotlight turns upon him, due to drama (or mini-drama, such as a sharp disagreement with Lopen) he quickly becomes agitated, prickly, even hysterical. But be nice to him and he'll be nice to you, and shower you in free Steam codes. It's kind of neat that, despite his own financial trouble, he's known as one of the board's most generous people. He can generally be found in the transience topic, chatting about games with icon. He's also the board's headphones guru.
