used to be in the "Cash version is better" camp but I've since changed my stance

I don't think you can really compare them because they are two different genres. I prefer NIN but that is because I prefer NIN's genre to Cash's.

For someone who likes country much more than NIN's style of music I can completely understand why they would think the Cash version is better.
