Intimidating
Samurai Jack's new mask - Damn, that's frightening. Definitely a different look for Jack

Memorable
Father Mask - It balances the line between ugly, funny and scary. It's definitely one that sticks in your mind.

Forgettable
Hotline Miami Rooster - Pretty much just a rooster. The thing with most Hotline Miami masks is that they stand out due to their circumstances, but as masks themselves they're just regular animal heads.

Ugly
Dandelion - Is it supposed to be scary? Or tough? It's just kind of repulsive really

Top Tier
Corvo Attano - Excellent combination of intimidation, badassery, and practicality. Easily one of the best masks gaming has produced.

Intimidating
Samurai Jack's new mask
Punisher - Skulls are played out, but the Punisher symbol is one of the few places they're still badass

Memorable
The Phantom - Extremely simple, but iconic. Gets the job done without extra flash.
Father Mask
The Mask - This one's tough. Power-wise, The Mask is a big standout, but from a design standpoint, it's almost like a weird tiki mask before application and turns into basically green face paint after application. Its context makes it hard to put it lower, but its design keeps it from being higher.

Forgettable
Hotline Miami Rooster
Char Aznable - This one kind of feels like cheating, because the thing on his head is definitely a helmet. The thing over his eyes is a mask, but there's not much extinguishing it from a dollar store mask (except the glowing white anime eyes)

Majora's Mask - I've never been a Zelda fan by any means, but credit where it's due, the mask itself is badass.
Twilight Zone Mask - I like this a lot actually. Feels very reminiscent to David Lynch films. It's like almost a normal face mask, but like slightly melted, and that's creepy as hell.

Memorable
The Phantom
Batman - Memorable and iconic, sure. Maybe it's the fact that I've seen it so many times that I can't find it intimidating anymore.

Leronira - It's basically a fancier Phantom mask, but stands out less for me. For a stark white masquerade-type mask to stand out, it needs to have a really iconic association or a really striking visual style, and this has neither.

The Great Mizuti - Part of me wants to like how playful and creative this is, but a bigger part of me looks at this and thinks this looks like a kid that got ahold of too much Play-Doh

Henrik Lundqvist - the f*** is this? Is that supposed to be practical? It looks like a football helmet designed by someone who doesn't quite know what sports are

Amon - Amon was probably my favorite part of Legend of Korra. Simple, but demands authority.
Yoshimitsu White Demon - A creepy mask that splits open to reveal an even creepier mask. Clever and delightfully spooky.

Blue Spirit - A mask significant and powerful enough to give an entirely new identity to an already exceptional character.

Jason Voorhees - Classic horror hockey mask, not much needs said.
Michael Myers - Iconic, sure, and pretty creepy.

Zorro - Iconic, yeah, but not so much on it's own. When I think Zorro, I think the combination of the hat, mask, and Antonio Banderas' smirk. Just the mask on its own doesn't do much.
