Just wondering, got my RW Cid up to 502 ATK, what are the more reasonable ways to try and upgrade that?

The game has changed more than you think, ever since the FF14 event a lot of new mechanics have been added to recent soul breaks like stoneskin, summon strike and damage reflect, which you'll probably see in multiplayer.

Also if you're so confident in Tidus' OSB and your other "overpowered" relics you should try fighting Nemesis and 250 torment dungeons ;)

guessing you've done all these, but these are the reasonable ways:
- get him to level 99
- add rosetta stones to the sword
- record sphere (at least 3*)

then the less reasonable ways:
- get his SSB/BSB and master it
- get more copies of his sword to combine
- get more platinum shields or whatever holy shield to combine

Sword Combination + Stones is how I got to my current tier.

I'm wondering, I've got Serah's gloves up to ++, would reforging those help much?

I've also combined Sephiroth's sword and Seph might reach a higher ATK potential since I also have his gloves to give him an ATK boost.

But the Holy sword seems more useful than the Dark one.

Edit-OK 544 Atk now seems more reasonable, still feels low in a weird way.

Well I'm not saying it's a given. I'm just saying with the trajectory of the game's difficulty curve and character progression, it's likely I can still do it unless the difficulty spike has been way out of line with the previous 6 months.

More likely the case will be "can do the highest difficulty content in realms I overkilled synergy for due to fanboy drawing (II, VII, X), struggle mightily with more scarce realms (I, III, VIII, IX)" Don't think I care enough to test it though!

You likely cannot do Nemesis as it requires some very distinct things to clear and you either have them or you don't.

Torments are actually difficult too but they are more of hone/bsb check than difficulty check.

So I have my "A Team" of:
99 Onion Knight (BSB)
80 TGCid (OSB)
80 Ramza (Shout) /Minifillia (The one like Shout but also with Last Stand instead of Haste)
84 Tyro (SG)
99 Vanille (Medica that also does a +1 to abilities)

Should I be trying some of these nemesis and Torments?

The D200 Torments should be doable with your team. Your Medica is kinda mediocre, but it should do. Not so sure about D250 on the other hand. You really want at least some form of AoE BSBs to get through the trash waves and the bosses are really rough, so a BSB Medica would be recommended (though not necessary, I did beat the Piggies and Geos before I had a useable healer burst)

The two normal difficulties of Nemesis should be doable, but the hardest one is just stupid and would just frustrate you.

I have Aerith, Yshtola, and Penelo BSB Medicas but they are not as high leveled as Vanille plus the +1 skills is kind of nice.

you should fight the magic pot that's another 50 mythril for no more effort than logging in (guaranteed win just hit it 5 times with anything)

Yeah, basically just run auto with speed 5 on.

That's pretty much what I do for all the mobile games I'm not actively playing. I at least login to claim the login stuff.

But I'm going to switch back to Papalymo's Burst when the FF9 ultimates come in, the Ultimate+ is gauntlet of monsters weak to fire and his nuke command should make short work of them.

I had my heart set on Orlandeau's OSB as well for the second anniversary as well, since I hoarded mythril between the FF14 banners and the FFT banner, and failed to get it after 5 pulls and even putting real money for an extra pull, only to get a 1/11 healing staff. I got so frustrated with that but I got over it eventually since I saw it comes back later.

I was determined to get it during the Second Anniversary banners, resisting all these super tempting banners (seemed like every event there was a god-tier BSB in them) and hoarding mythril solely for his OSB. But I decided to make Banner 3 my priority since I didn't have any relics there and already had Alph's stuff and Agrias is similar to Beatrix who I already had her BSB and invested a lot of motes into. After I got Raines' BSB I held the leftover mythril for Banner 4 and I still didn't get it this time through only after two pulls, but I got one of the trinity relics last banner so I'm content with my pulls since it could have gone a lot worse. I could pull once more but I already got the other two OSBs, so if I whale for TGC's OSB again I'll wait for the next Tactics event since it also has a new SSB for Orlandeau and more relics I don't have.

The next Tactics is kind of in that sweet spot where it's not too far but there's enough time to get enough mythril for a couple of pulls. Daily Dungeons still haven't updated as well so that's more mythril to stock up.

Now I have to decide whether I want to throw another 50 at it knowing it would likely mean I get no shot at banner 5. I think the answer is yes because I have a lot of dupes on each banner (5 on banner 4, 3 on banner 5) but more wants on banner 4 (5) than banner 5 (2 wants, 1 whatever)

So yes, you are reading that right. Banner 5 is 10 items, I have 5 of them yet still want the remaining 5. The 5 I already have are all the SSB's and lower + Alphinaud BSB.

don't see much use for OK SSB since I already have Vessel of Fate. With Agrias' and Beatrix's BSB that I have already, I got two holy imperils that could set up the OSB.

I allotted myself 450 mythril for banner 4, but I think I'll call it here after 100. I got several dupes to contend with in order to get Alphinaud; I think it's better to wait until the next XIV banner since I'm certain we'll be seeing his relics again. XIV synergy could certainly use the boost.

So plan now is one pull on Banner 5 and that will probably be it for the anniversary stuff. I'll be left with a very healthy 400 mythril to work on boosting synergy for my weak realms (IV, X, XII, XIV)
