I was in a mage team against the black knights, my partners were Raines, Krile, Alphinaud and I was Papalymo and Arc (forgot who the other healers were, I think a Y'shtola was there through) Granted we relied more on our AoE Burst commands than soul breaks but it was the only team I could join that could beat them, also sometimes they fuck us over if they landed a silence/confuse on one our of healers.

I'm surprised you guys don't remember Barth all that well, there even lurkers posting in this topic asking for help how to deal with his Ultimate Dispel + nuke phases. I think the Ultimate Dispel even removed breaks from Barth.

Honestly, one reason might be because I'm almost ALWAYS Wall and Healer, unles someone needs something specific (cause realistically, everyone tries to get cute with their wall, and use like wrath,or some other move at the start, and we all DIE, so yeah. And while I suck hard core at this game, I'm rather good about keeping it up through scripted shit, so I would have had us go Wall and Shellga right as he used UD attack.

Even Nemesis Descent wasn't easy. Was never in super real danger of dying, but it was a slog and a half. I need to get deployment tactics up faster, or just straight up switch out Relm or Rosa for Y'shtola, switch out Alph for Vaan, and RW deployment tactics.

I didn't get any dupes on the Lucky Draw, but I did get 3 relics of little use: Desch's Imperil Lightning SSB, Catlady's Phoshellga SSB, and Vayne's SSB. I don't think I'll really get to use any of those.

If you manage to get Desch's burst that imperil Lightning will come in handy. Desch's is a poor man's Cid Raines but even Raines-lite is still bonkers good.

Ah well, at least Desch's Burst is non-elemental as well so at least he has that over Raines, there's a lot of null-everything-except-one-element bosses in the FF12 dungeon update and I made the mistake of bringing Raines with me against Shemhazai since I didn't read the boss description and just assumed lol 90 difficulty. Apparently there's going to be a lot more of these bosses in the future :(

I don't think I can beat Nemesis. I'd need to give DMT/MM to a healer, and that means taking it away from either Tyro or Vaan. Otherwise, I can't survive the onslaught, or get even close to phase 2.

so i don't really care about Boundless Nemesis but I'd like to beat the 180 difficulty for the rewards. Has anyone tried an imperil strat? Wondering if it will give me good DPS. Right now I'm planning:

Beatrix (BSB imperil holy)
Agrias (BSB imperil holy, OSB holy DMG)
OK (BSB, healer 1)
Fran (Full Breakdown)
Y'shtola (wall, healer 2)
RW: Vanille BSB

Not having an instant medica hurts. I could swap Beatrix for Yuna (Miracle Veil) with OK solely focusing on MAG dmg and move wall to RW so Y'sh can do SSB (Proshellga/major regenga) though I'd have to build the gauge for her. Ugh I'm having a hard time planning a good setup...

Anyone getting input problems?

Everytime I press for a RW it hits defend and every other input isn't really registering.

This isn't happening with other games like Love Live which requires way more precision.

no input problems but i'm getting very bad lag. it's slow equipping items/abilities, to the point where it timed out a couple times. and after i finish a battle it takes like 30 seconds to actually get to the reward screen.

oh man thank god this event randomly lasts an extra few hours. was rushing through with the last one i did being the IV/T/XII one, used Orlandu RW to one-shot Kain and Algus but couldn't enter the third battle until 9:00:15, which would have been just barely too late normally.

and because i was rushing so much i missed medals and had to repeat it <_<

Well, I gave up. Nemesis is by miles and miles and miles the hardest battle in this game. And I finally got to the point I just couldn't even kinda care anymore. I'll beat him when it's multiplayer, but 5 on 1... I tip my cap to you jackass. I bow out. This is now along with Parade Float the only things I haven't Mastered, and I didn't even beat either of them. So I've never beaten something and not Mastered it, and that still remains. Thx for all the help guys, but I'm done.

And VII Cloud Ultra (I think it's II)

FFXI is really good, not game changing outside of the introduction of Chain Soul Breaks but worth drawing, if only for synergy at least. Lion's BSB is the same as Vaan's except it lowers attack instead of magic which makes her a better choice against physical only bosses. Prishe's stuff isn't too shabby either and she gets Last Stand, Ayame's SSB is a shout clone AND does damage as well.

I'll think I'll do two pulls, it's a "can't really lose" kind of banner, especially since we've had borderline nothing besides Shantoto for FFXI up till now, at the very least you probably don't have to worry about dupes or uniques.

Word of warning about the upcoming Hein raid battle, he counters with aoe confuse if you hit him with a physical attack so go all mage/dancer, and probably use a raid room since dumb OSB first turn randoms will probably screw you over.

Also we get Cloud of Darkness's MC3 tonight as well. All new characters from now on debut with their MC3, except maybe Curilla and Ayame (but that's because they're new to Global, Japan had them for quite a while)

Beat Hein both difficulties in the reddit room. My Raines and teammate Onion Knight/Shantoto's magic boosts stacked and made Papalymo do 6 hits with his burst command >:)

I THINK this is the multiplayer that showed the dumbest in people.

I just kicked everyone out who had physicals. And they still found ways to do it. By god idiots.

So i just had a 5/11 draw. Awesome, right? Wrong!
3 semi-suicide Gauntlets, a dupe Arc Robe, and an Onion Sword (that one's new at least).
Excitement and frustration can be so close together sometimes.

Ultimates mastered-

Hecatoncheir and Gaaps- lol Cid Raines and Vayne BSBs

Xande- Pretty tough fight, Brough Vaan, Orlandeau, Beatrix, Tyro and Y'shtola. Vaan's BSB helped a lot with magic mitigation, Orlandeau's burst was used for the Dark medal and Beatrix was there for Banishing Strike. He attacks twice when he's weak and casts haste/shell/protect on himself at certain healths but he wasn't too bad overall.

Garuda-Ugh this boss is too fast and attacks twice, he can kill your party before you can get mitigation up so if you have Vaan's BSB have him equip Mako Might or RW it so Garuda doesn't Lightning spam you to death at the start, thunder resist is also highly recommended. His damage is low outside of meteor and Ultimate Lightning so once mitigation and Asylum are up he takes a few turns to break stoneskin. I replaced Orlandeau with Lunneth to try out my shiny new OSB spear, even through I don't have his burst or any wind attacks on him he still did 99999 damage to Garuda with his OSB and killed him quickly in the last third so Garuda couldn't go Meteor/Ultimate Lighting happy.

Did you beat them using any Dark element attack only? If you beat the mobs with any elements other than Dark, they'll respawn.

Keep in mind that non-elemental attacks, like Lifesiphon or Bahamut will also spawn a new one.
