Is there a limit for the amount of opiods you can dispense at once? I had arm surgery about a year ago and they gave me percs for a refill or two but only prescribed me like 24 of the '12 hour' oxys. I figured it was because they were like 'this dude doesnt need that many oxys' but it made me wonder if there was some sort of limit to figured out if scripts were forged or not.

There's no limit, but if there isn't a specific situation that calls for a large amount, then more pills can get suspicious fast.

There are plenty of possibilities in your case. Perhaps they didn't have enough medicine to fill you and they had to owe you some? Also, by law, schedule 2 substances (basically all narcotics save for tramadol) CANNOT be refilled. Meaning, you need a new prescription each time you want a refill.

Also, allow me to clarify something. You had a percocet prescription and they only gave you oxycodone alone? If so, that's an illegal substitution unless they called the doctor.

I think it pays well. And after getting used to the computer system and workflow, it got a lot more fun. The coworkers are great. I still have plenty to learn, though.

No. NyQuil already has Tylenol in it, so don't double up. Zicam isn't that useful to begin with, but I think that's to prevent a cold when you feel one coming on. Not to treat it.

Ah I gotcha. Surprised you had to search so many before you found one in stock. That's pretty common.

I'd be real impressed if anyone can be licensed by the age of 20. They'd have to advance through several years of schooling.

Depends on what you need, what your diet is, etc. If you know your diet is severely lacking in a certain vitamin, you'd want a supplement that obviously includes that vitamin.

Depends. Controlled substances, especially narcotics, would have to be kept, a DEA form filled out, and then held until someone can pick them up.

As for noncontrolled drugs, I guess it depends. Some pharmacies can set up a system to send it back to their supplier to recoup some of the costs. It's so rare for a drug to expire on us, though, because most pharmacies have systems in place that automatically order drugs as they get used up.

Some of my favorite games include Shining Force II, Breath of Fire, Wild Arms, GTA San Andreas, most Zeldas. Stuff like that.

It requires two/three years of undergraduate studies, at which point you have to go through an application process to whatever pharmacy school you want to go to, do an interview, get accepted, etc. Then it's four years of professional school, then finally licensing tests.

So why did you go through 7-8 years of school for this? Is it your passion or calling? It's not much. For the same time and effort couldn't you be in a hospital doing things to some extent?

I enjoy chemistry, biology, and helping people. Pharmacy seemed to be a good fit since medicine fascinates me quite a bit. And yeah, pharmacists work in hospitals.

I can't, off the top of my head, think of any CURRENT gaming trends that bother me (although I'm sure there are some).

I will, however, say that the thing that bothers me the most in gaming that's still a thing is preorder bonuses. Get X if you preorder at GameStop! Get Y if you preorder at Walmart! Get Z if you preorder at Amazon! Etc. I hate that.

Nope. For a couple reason. The primary reason is when I was a student, one of my preceptors who is both the clinical director of the hospital pharmacy and the residency coordinator, told me that residencies were pushed too hard initially. He said the pendulum was starting to swing back, so to speak, to the point where a residence isn't an absolute necessity. And I also live in an area where it's not needed anyway.
