Okay, so you see... many of you have probably followed different 'Gauntlet Crew Ranks movies' topics... And of course... we originally started on Disney. I missed that project and I don't even remember why, but basically I gained one interested party in Comm to do our own version. During the project he got busy and has since then... well... Left the board. Not never to be seen again, but he definitely doesn't have time to continue a project like that with me.

So I wanted to find someone else in the Gauntlet Crew that hasn't seen them all... And... I dunno. Gravy's uninterested and I can't seem to find an answer of who else didn't see it, so now I'm coming to board 8 as a whole. Who wants to watch the 53 movies up till Frozen of the Disney Canon with me?

Don't worry, the only due date I have is sometime before Disney Sequels comes up... and that's not for a couple lists... so probably sometime next year or later.

Yes, it was the last movie out when the project began. The gauntlets themselves are Pools of characters based on specific topics and it will randomly generate a match of 2 or 4 characters (depending on how you choose to play it). You pick one, the winner will return into the pool while the loser is removed (unless you do double elimination).

If you actually search for a gauntlet topic, there's a link of all our gauntlets. They're Java programs and if you check in with the #gauntlet channel on our Discord we can assist in making it work if you would like. Otherwise every Wednesday Snake hosts a quad and you could check that out.

Ignoring that, what's your favorite Disney film? I'm gonna reorganize the 53 from how it was when Comm and I were going to do that.

Oh so it's a bunch of rankings done randomly by script. I remembered hearing about that long ago but didn't know exactly what it was called here

My favorite Disney film is probably Mulan. Maybe Beauty and the Beast but admittedly it has been quite a while and there are many which I haven't seen since I was a kid.

Oh, and on a note. I dunno how interested you are in them, and obviously it's not required (though it would be nice if we get more people trying these out)... If you do try out any of our gauntlets, I'd recommend trying any of Bioware, Star Wars, Historical Figures, or Wrestlers... if any of those happen to be part of your interest. Scarlet designed the first three and introduced a theme where instead of an origin for characters, he places an entertaining banter about them. Adds a little amusement to gauntlets. Wrestlers is JONA's, but he adapted it to do the same thing.

And I sent a formatted list... All I really did was swap where Mulan was and Comm's favorite movie (Fox and the Hound)... despite wanting to swap this up a bit more. I just can't think about how to adjust this further at the current time being. If you have adjustment ideas, feel free to toss them out there. Most of what I did was weed through a lot of trash while adding some bigger, widely liked movies in that. And end it on each of our favorites.

Comm and I would take a number to finish weekly, to say how he and I did it.

Of course, the whole reason he and I would do that is because we both needed to see all of the movies. I dunno how many you are decently familiar with so rewatches are unnecessary, or if you prefer to watch all of them since we don't have that much of a time constraint.

Of course, that was also because we did not live watch them together. I don't know how you'd feel about it legitimately being together, but I should toss up that idea as well.

I don't think we'll get anyone else, and plus this was originally a two person project anyway. Just the grand question of things is how you feel watching each movie "with" someone else online. I know you're on Discord so it'd be just VC, countdown and watch the stuff. But naturally we don't need to, especially if you're like Ermine and don't like watching movies for the first time with someone else. Or just flat out don't have a mic so it's better off separate. Or some excuse from a handful that makes sense and doesn't hurt my feels. Otherwise, we should probably pick like, a number of movies per week or something and try to work on that. Early on I do have another project, so I'd like it a bit lax.

And also, Comm and I were going to make a project of it since we were both gauntlet members that hadn't done that ranking. Basically post on the board as we went through the movies and end it off with rankings... We don't have to have it that way, of course, but it's always worth the mention.

I mean, I don't have a mic at the moment (My headset broke about a year ago) but it could inspire me to finally get a new one (There's a couple I've had my eye on)

My family leaves town... Wednesday. That's when I'll have my days a lot more free again. Outside of that, there's no specific time in the day that is pretty bad for me. Under the case that we watch them together, there are 3 hours of the evening (4, 5 and 9 PT) where I'll either have to afk shortly or might be distracted for a moment, but it's fine to overlap with those. (Dunno your time zone but most of the time I assume EST/EDT for most people)
