If some kind, upstanding owner who has already sent their final FA intructions, or who is not participating in the final period of free agency, would offer to take my PM and send it to KCF on my behalf, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have a potential signing I want to make but didn't submit it (It's fine, I deliberately didn't submit). I need to speak with you in spreadsheet about it as I had a few questions. (EDIT: not saying to wait on me, I meant I'll do it in normal season or next phase or whatever depending on who's available)

Also out of curiosity, when does the AI do all its releases and do we get a crack at them? Mainly mean because some teams are way over budget so need to cut players at some point

I don't know what the actual cap is, but keep in mind that us users are operating at a lower cap than AI teams are. When it says - however much they are, that's in reference to our cap, they may still be under the actual cap.

This must've been me. :( I'm guessing I was woefully off in the amount it would take to get them to sign.

Players have ALL the leverage in free agency. They would rather not sign a contract and go broke than sign one that they do not like. It took until the final day for Parenton and Harris to sign. Romo and Oliver said no, and Romo subsequently left the league.

So I've found myself running kind of a similar league to this one on the NFLB and we're kind of desperate for people.

There are a few noticeable differences:

1) it's on Madden 17 with current rosters
2) it's not a dynasty league like this one (which I honestly think makes this one better)
3) injuries are off

There are more, but I don't want to put this big long post on this league.

Injuries were dumb when I climbed to most in the league two years in a row, but then they were okay when I had a normal amount and was able to win.

(wouldn't want them gone though, the dumbness is what makes it interesting)

I decided not to sim the preseason tonight because first and foremost, I am not where my Xbox is located. Secondly, I neglected to go into some details about it.

The preseason is four games, and I sim it all in one fell swoop. I neither record nor even look the results. The only thing that I pay attention to is the injuries. In most seasons, we get through the preseason without interruption. On occasion, I am given a message during the sim saying X team does not have enough healthy players at Y position.

When that message pops up, I personally sign someone near the top of the position in question to a 1 year deal. In the event that the worst-case scenario occurs where such a message occurs and the team is at full capacity and/or cannot afford anyone, then I will make a judgement call on who to release in order to sign someone. Anyone is free to give me the one player at each position they would want me to cut if that happens, but I would pick someone who sits on the bench, maybe even the person who was injured.

If we are lucky, this scenario doesn't happen, but if it does, then I am hoping that the injured player suffered a season-ending injury. In that event, I could place the player on IR, and your team would recoup the cap hit that they would have tied up had they been healthy. Of course, that would require for said team to not be at full capacity, but I'm hoping that neither of these nightmare scenarios happen.

Like if a fringe player gets injured for 6-8 weeks then probably better to IR them and get the funds back to grab a replacement.

I'm not but I probably would be if 2 big money positions got injured. I also have people I could cut and haven't purely because I have the space. But I was still thinking about making some pick ups.
