I can comfortably say some nice things about Ted Cruz: he was rightfully uncomfortable holding Carly Fiorina's hand, he was selfless for his party when he was phone-banking for the guy who insulted his wife and father, and he proved he's determined by not committing seppuku immediately after Donald owned him on the New York values-question in the debates.

I know this topic is past but for the record, I live in Iowa I have seen multiple couples who refer to each other as "mom" and "dad" even when not talking to their kids. Its not common but I've seen it enough not to find it weird.

I also know conservative religious couples who do the whole "never be alone with the opposite gender" thing. Including a couple of friends.

I don't keep in touch with people I don't see, and I'd have to go far out of my way to even be in the presence of religious conservatives, and doing so would only serve the purpose of doing so. in normal, everyday day life, religious conservative people and I simply do not cross paths and I don't make any active effort to perpetuate that. it just is what it is. I'm not going to put an ad on Craigslist like "seeking religious conservative people to get to know for no reason other than to be able to tell people on the internet that I know religious conservative people." pointless waste of time. I don't know any nazis either, or any sjws or any isis members or any lizard people or anyone who has been to space or any krokodil addicts or anyone who is level 40 in Pokemon go or any d**** manufacturers or any albinos or anyone who owns a Bugatti Veyron or anyone from the country of Reunion.

Also, is everyone ignoring that Mike Pence was the deciding vote in a Senate vote that rolled back an Obama regulation that states had to use federal funding (in this case Title X family planning grants) for Planned Parenthood? This allows states now to deliberately prevent Planned Parenthood from receiving federal funding and divert it to community healthcare centers. Which sounds nice except that even these health centers acknowledge they can't take on the number of patients which would move from closed down PP facilities to their facilities, and the lack of specialized women's healthcare options means they can't always provide the same services PP does.

I mean there was a report recently that when Texas introduced the incredibly restrictive abortion bill that was eventually struck down, the jump in self-induced abortions in the state was somewhere between 100,000 to 240,000.

Maybe it's just me, but trying to deny people abortions doesn't mean you're not going to get abortions, and making them illegal means you're gonna have to find a lot of room in prisons for these women.

They wanna force women to have babies and then let said babies grow up to starve in school and perform badly, thus resulting in bad grades, thus resulting in less or even no college grants, which means they either go deeply in debt to get loans for overpriced college.

Basically, it all adds up to an undereducated, compliant workforce that is so desperate for money that they'll do anything and get underpaid for it. And they'll continue to convince them that if they vote Republican, all of these problems that evil liberals caused will go away and they'll be able to become millionaires through hard work.
