I had that thing preordered when it was first announced in June of last year and they never started preparing to ship it so I finally decided to contact them this morning and they were just like "uhhhhhhhh it's gone sorry we'll upgrade your shipping if we ever get it in stock again" even though I was already at the best shipping option v_v

then I saw on Best Buy the Take Your Heart edition now had individual store stock listed for store pickup which I don't think it had a day or two ago and every store near me was "3 or less" so I ordered one and hoping when they open this morning that it's actually true.

I had zero issues with the Fate/Extella special edition, but that game was so relatively small time something would have to go horrifically wrong.

It's a lose lose lose situation for me

I buy from Amazon = they might not deliver on time once in a while
I buy from Best Buy = they use UPS and they never deliver on time
I don't buy from Gamestop

Good thing I have a decade long backlog so I'm never in a rush to play any game

Ugh, that sounds horrible. I would close my Amazon account, my Amazon Visa (once I got a new card), and any other related accounts and send "YOU RUINED MY LIFE!" messages if this happened to me. And yes, they WOULD have ruined my life, because I've honestly never been so hyped for a game before.

I called. Lady said (with no prior warning) that my order couldn't be filled and would be cancelled

So now I have to figure something else out to get a copy, and RIP any chance of special edition (granted, it coming available on 3/31 like it did was too good to be true)

I checked earlier. Nearest one that showed copies in stock is about 30m away by car, and I can't get there until after work. I'm totally trying if it still shows it has copies when I get off in 4 hours though.

Edit: just checked again, none available in 250 miles for special edition

Gotta figure out what to do, because I really don't want to wait for shipping, especially if I'm stuck with a normal copy.

Also I did try to preorder in a store and they said it was impossible (which is why I should've been more wary when the website said it was available)
