Yeah, middle ground on the biome size is good. I didn't realize you could customize like that. Large Biomes gets to be pretty excessive.

I'll take a look into it and see if we have any in-between options.

@RedPixel Are you open to using a new seed btw? I'd love to do some research and find a cool one to use.

Great news for us, guys. Free trial just ended and the game is now going to my credit card... wait shit that's not good news. I meant to say we can keep playing! :D

About to save the game that we played together and have the file available to send to you guys whenever you want, if you want it. PM me your email, I guess? Not sure of an easier way to get it to you...

The seed didn't work like we expected, unfortunately, but is still very cool. Biome size is set to default, villages/structures are on

Update: This very well might BE the seed you gave me... I'll get back to you after exploring. DEFINITELY has a lot more variety.

Alright, found a little island in the ocean east of spawn that I've set up on. There's an underwater temple further out from there I plan on tunneling to eventually.

Getting my piece of dirt out there was such a pain the ass lol. You found my base! :D

Yeah, it looks like a chore. Should look pretty cool when it's finished, tho.

Did you track dirt out from the shore, or go from the seafloor up? I honestly got freaked out for a minute thinking it was some weird land generation or terrain glitch.

I also found RedPixel's base. I just assumed Snuggle built that too.

Dirt from shore. The middle coordinate of that circle is X: 1,000 / Z: 1,000, so I thought it was cool. I think building from the seafloor would have killed me for sure. It gets deep.

I took you guys' advice/suggestion and built near spawn. In our last world, I was skeptical of GFAQs trolls destroying the base, but since it's you guys, I feel more trusting now. Lol

You know you could have just used a lily pad, right?

I can play from my Xbox with y'all right?

I might enjoy mine craft if I'm not playing with a 5 y/o that just bosses me around the entire time.

It has similar qualities if it isn't. The scaling makes it difficult to tell and they might be different versions, but again, it's similar.

Erm... I hate to say it, but I don't think there's cross-platform compatibility between PC and Xbox versions. If you have a PC or I'm mistaken, you're more than welcome to join us. It's a free for all but none of us are out to mess with others' stuff or kill each other. Totally up to you.

Oh and btw guys, if you're inactive for 2-3 weeks, I think Realms is programmed to kick you out to save room in their database. Just message me and I'll add/readd you.

The "Windows 10 Edition" is cross-platform I think, but it's just a lame port of the pocket edition, and a different game from the PC version that everyone in this topic is using.

Okay, @RedPixel can you do me a favor? I was checking out your base and lag ended up getting me blown up by a creeper. I ended up respawning way too far away. If my shit is still lying around, I'd appreciate if you could collect it for me before it disappears. I lost an entire inventory full of stuff.

I'm not sure how item despawning works, if you need to be within the same chunk or what.

It despawns only when somebody is in the chunk. After five minutes IIRC

Yes, the chunk needs to be loaded and it takes 5 minutes.


I've traveled something in the neighborhood of 25,000 blocks, though never more than about 8,000 from spawn. Here are some useful coordinates:

2600 -1600: Mesa Plateau F (there's a skeleton dungeon in the desert temple just south of here)
2800 150: Savanna Plateau M
Just south of 4000 30: Jungle (the given coords are a village)

@Snuggletoof I found your stuff (or most of it) and quickly dumped it into a chest for you. You can find it in my base. It's the only chest I have visible over there.

Yeah, I'm maybe two chunks northeast of @RedPixel. Tiny island I claimed as my own. I've tunneled my way to an underwater temple directly east from there too and started draining it out.

Yeah, anyone who needs copies of maps can let me know. I left three assuming it was just going to be the usual four of us playing.

Negative, only the PC/Mac versions will work. Phone can connect with Windows 10 version though, but this isn't that.
