what the fuck? so I finally watched the show this weekend, marathoned it in two sittings because it was fucking awesome. I seriously laid in bed and cried over that shit after it ended. Then I watch the movie sequel and jesus christ, what were they thinking??? what a shitty, pointless, meandering, contrived asspull of a plot. even the liberal fanservice is ruined by context, and the amount of yuribait is just obnoxious. Luckily they didn't totally ruin the best character (MADOKA btw), but they totally fucked up the 2nd or 3rd best one!!!! now in order to fully appreciate the show i need to become one of those headcanon losers who pretends parts of the series don't exist!!!

i only remember a few scenes throughout the movie and thought the ending was great. what didnt you like about it?
