I keep on reading this multiple times why do you even hide it?

I am 33 and never hide it, keep in mind I was in high school in the late 90s and in college in the early 00s when all of those hobbies were much less mainstream.

I never got harassed for it, never had trouble dating. If someone ask you why do you like that instead of other things just calmly explain them they may have interesting stories, be relaxing and give an example. I usually used MGS1 as an example and rurouni kenshin as examples and challenged them to tell me what is the difference between liking that and liking more mainstream tv shows of movies from that time. Never apologize for it, never be ashamed of it, but don't try to force it in other people.

also take care of your self, dress decently, work out and at least say hi to people who don;t like the same as you. Join a gym or a sport it increases your confidence, women find you more attractive and men respect you more. I played Football and soccer since I was a kid and I have been lifting weights since I was 10 since many in my family have been in bodybuilding for decades, so by the time I was 14 I was very muscular of a kid of that age.

Dont hide the fact i like video games

Anime i have grown out of, so never really feel the need to bring up that i like it.

Comics i dont care about either, but i do like comic cons.

I'm pretty open about playing video games.

Not really into anime but I have watched some of them and I do enjoy it but it's not a regular thing for me.

I grew up reading comics and followed them throughout my childhood and teen years but I haven't followed any of them since around the time new 52 happened.

I discuss video games with people at parties if there's a lull in the conversation.

There is a difference between hiding something and having not having the need to talk about it every 5 seconds and annoy the shit out of everyone like a fucking fan boy loser

Unless someone brings up something to me and wants to talk about it, why should I pretend like the things I enjoy are things I should constantly bring up to other people for no good reason

They're not comics they're Graphic Novels.

I tried to hide my dorkish leanings in high school because I figured I was decent-looking enough to touch boobs and didn't want anything to sabotage it for me. Obviously that doesn't make for a lasting relationship on any level. Eventually I found my wife and was able to touch boobs and watch anime, play games, etc. (ironically, she was jock). Never give up on your dreams!

Bro. I don't hide the fact I'm 30 and a virgin so what makes you think I hide the fact I like video games, wrestling, some anime and so on? I don't go around broadcasting every aspect of my life but if asked I give a honest answer because I don't pretend to be someone I'm not.
