Since then the 2 have been in a furious row over the winnings as Jan said "Upstairs, the eye in the skey says she technically touched the button, so we have to pay her"

The casino confirmed that Marina pressed the button so she is the rightful winner as the person who pushes it or pulls the arm is the one who wins says Gary Bitner

But Jan said he PAID for the $50 spin on the Double Top Dollar machine and used HIS gambling card to do it too..

He says "Marina, what are you doing? and then she gets up and walks out as Marina clais she was the one who funded the spin.

Marina is a married mortgage broker who said she was going to share the loot until he started THREATENING her..

She was handed the $50,000 cheque and another 50,000 in cash and Jan is not taking it well..She asid "Jan, all of a s udden went ballistic. He started screaming in front of everybody"..he even sent her aggressive text messages telling her having him as an enemy is not good..

Marina says now he's trying to ruin her reputation but Jan says he is raising awareness on the unfair rules but Marina says she is a hard working professional and he's ruining her image by flooding her facebook with hateful comments as users are now DEFENDING JAN and calling Marina a GOLD DIGGING PIECE OF S***...

Others said Jan got played by a beautiful woman as the 2 men in 2015..

Jan says he's played slots all his life all over the country and never had a problem like this and says this isn't right

The timing of the pull does not matter. if it wants to pay out, it will, if it doesn't it wont. doesnt matter if you press the spin button, pull the lever, or are one one of those machines where you press a button/pull for each individual reel, it give the aura of skill stop but it's still random.

Sure her pull made the difference but that was just luck and it was this guy who was playing the machine. Still it is what it is and that guy got shafted ironically as he probably expected to be the one doing the shafting.

Honestly, that seems pretty stupid. So any random stranger can push a button on someone else's machine after they already paid, and then claim the money? That seems like a bad way to run things. Who paid should be what matters, not who pushed the button.

That being said, he probably should've accepted the offer to share the winnings. Fair or not, something is better than nothing, and threatening her isn't going to really make her want to share at all.

The protocol is a little counter intuitive but it makes sense. Sharing of chips/betting cards isn't that unusual, so the person fronting the money for a bet isn't as relevant as you might think. So barring theft/fraud it really has to go to the person actually playing because it's the most objective measure.

The casino has stupid rules. Should be based on whose money it is. What if two people pull the lever together? What if someone walks by and falls on the lever? What if a dog pulls the lever? If it's based on the money, you can avoid any disputes over who's entitled to the winnings.

This is like saying if you have a friend blow on the dice before you throw them then they get the money you bet at the craps table.

I have no clue why a casino would rule whoever pushed the button or pulls the lever gets the money, If I put 20 bucks in a slot machine and some asshole comes over and pushes the button while I look away for a second does he win the jackpot if it comes up?
