The most I knew was that cheesy song in the 90''s and he showed up in the 90's spider-man cartoon opening. I also remember the x-men appearing in that cartoon in one episode as well as a whole bunch of other heroes like the hulk and fantastic four, and the punisher and dare devil appearing in the opening as well. In that regard, he was a character that was known, but not really focused on or favorited by many. He had a UPN cartoon and some video game appearances.
