Is it because of the eventual Switch port (which will perform worse than the PS4 and Xbox One versions due to the system being weak)?

I am not complaining due to the small size (which would be idiotic), but I highly doubt that game compressed everything to fit in that small size (with Fast RMX being less than 1GB, but it has fast loading times, 30 courses, online multiplayer, 60 FPS with no slowdown whatsoever and some of the best graphics on the Switch, despite that devs can not fully tap into the Switch's potential yet, seeing how Zelda: Breath of the Wild cannot completely say at 30 FPS).

You can put a lot of content in 4 GBs. Isn't skyrim less than 6 gb?

Plus the 1GB game you mentioned with 30 courses. On the Nintendo 64 Resident Evil 2 was compressed to fit a 64mb cartridge... Yep that is two discs that I assume are 700mbs.

It is a last-generation game. Stop pretending that it is still new, despite all of its rereleases (and yet Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas all get ignored, outside of backwards compatibility, although Morrowind needs an HD rerelease badly for consoles).

Also, remember that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was also one of the smallest games of this generation, at about 7GBs, to the point where an update was larger than the game itself.

It showed (and I am glad I avoided it, seeing that the devs were Robomodo, who are nothing but incompetent).

Also, I am not playing in Exclusive Mode again.
