Well you said its disrespectful and as a soldier its not. And every person of the millenial age group in the military i spoke to, hates those people of our generation

We openly mock safe spaces and shit like that

But this is such a naive way of thinking. Because I agree, people need to learn to tackle their problems, and face their problems. Safe spaces are kinda dumb, I don't like people that can't face problems, etc. But this is not a "millenial" problem. This is a problem that has been exacerbated because of the overwhelming presence of the media. Do people really think that in the 40s and 50s everybody was all rough and tough? Of course not, there were sensitive brats back then, too. But they didn't get to make tumblr posts and they didn't have tons of media outlets defending them. Not too make it political, but the current liberal movement is due in large part to the media giving so much attention to these safe spaces.

So I don't think safe spaces are necessarily a new thing. I think the attention social media and the news gives safe spaces is what's new. That's why I don't like when people point out the generation's flaw, or even people in the generation. I'm not defending safe spaces, I'm just saying they've been around longer than we realize.

But that is what we will define this generation

In pretty sure two wars and economic disaster will be remembered more than social issues that bug you.

Firstly there's no argument in this topic, secondly only TC used millenial as an attack on anyone.

An argument as in a point of discussion. I don't even know how anyone implied millenial was an insult or what relevance that has to any potential explanation of what your statement meant, which remains ungiven.

People are using an article about an online survey that showed that people who were from gen z were more conservative than those from the millenium generation that also took their survey. Also I believe this survey was largely in Europe were Liberal and Conservative don't have the same meaning as the US.

Your behavior suggests as much, listing off potential future accomplishments and a moderate wage changes nothing about that. If you want to be seen as strong minded, use your mind before making stupid, poorly thought out topics like this.

Also, your post seems incredibly insecure. I'm sure your military career is nothing to write home about if you feel the need to point out that your civilian career is more successful because you're hitting goals most people hit by age 22.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Z#Political_views

InÂ1976, when Baby Boomers were donning their caps and gowns, 21% of high school seniors identified themselves as conservative. In 2014, when it was the millennials’ turn to graduate, 29% did so,Âthe studyÂauthors report. Â

Meanwhile,Âthe percentageÂof high school seniors who identifiedÂas liberal was 35% in 1976 and 34% in 2014.Â

Reading the article, I'm not actually sure what the point it's trying to make. It first starts out saying Millennials are more conservative then starts saying that there are more adults that are independent now with 18-29(a Millennial age range) being the largest group of independents.

The way a subsequent generation is, is largely the fault of previous generations ironically enough.

Does that mean the next generation is going to be alot more conservative?

Most likely.

Young people are starting to get more conservative now, even.

Not really

http://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-millennials-politics-conservative-20160907-snap-story.html

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Z#Political_views

Damn, I wanted that post to go away lol. Apparently gameraven doesn't like copy and paste.

But they are millennials. It's almost like it's stupid to generalize an entire group of millions of people. Wow!
