Never thought I'd say those words. Entirely ironic given my personal beliefs. I cut it out of a piece of wood I had leftover. Cut it to the right size and shape. Sanded and filed the edges right. Then I wood burned "%u0406%u0441%u0443%u0441 %u0425%u0440%u0438%u0441%u0442%u043E%u0441" into it. Now I'm just staining it darker and have to finish it and come up with some sort of bracket to hang it on the wall. Took awhile, since I used a jig to cut it, and then did the rest with sandpaper and files.

Honestly, it's not for me. My wife's mother is having some health issues and she is a staunch Ukrainian Catholic. Me and her honestly do not get along. She's important to my wife though, and she is family, so I hope a gift of a handmade cross will serve as a sort of peace offering (even though I still have some hostility towards her).

My wife found the image of me, mohawked and bearded, my thor's hammer hanging around my neck, sitting on a stool and finely sanding a little wooden cross to be utterly hilarious.
