Meh, I associate strength with the "warrior" class, which I associate with "easy mode"


Perfectly fine way to play the game, but there's no strategy involved in a strength/warrior build. Get strong, get a strong weapon, hit the enemy more times that it hits you.

Rogues and mages and junk tend to require some more thought.

dex is the best in all except 3, where strength takes it (because big weapons swing like little ones).
there's no strength weapon in 1 that isn't laughable to deal with in PVP. same in 2. there's a reason so many of these 'i'm gonna go into combat with double greatsword' people happen to have emergency estocs and katanas 90% of the time.

elise. what bullshit -- double greataxe build. smelter set. goes estoc with the smelter set. from cool to tool in seconds flat.

I have never cast a spell in a Dark Souls game and still don't know how, I get you use the glove/talisman/staff but I dunno how to equip pyromancy/miracle/sorcery

Zweihander isn't a Str weapon, but a quality weapon. When will people understand this?

Miracles get it too. Faith builds pretty much stopped being usable in DS2 when they dropped Lightning Spear from 10 uses to 3.

Dark spells (and fire) are pretty damn good in DS3 right now though.
