Unlocked all worlds now and yeah not seeing the complaints reviewers had except in one map. W4 the Cashino would chug every couple of minutes for a second but the way reviewers made it seem was it was Blight Town from Dark Souls. I'm enjoying this game a lot more than Banjo Kazooie and Tooie (actually hated Tooie with all of its backtracking but super slow character travel and chugging framerate).

I'm like 2/3 done right now. I like it, but I'm not sure how much of that is because of my pre-existing Banjo affection.

I want to play Tooie again after this so I can compare the level design while Yooka's still fresh in my mind. I can't tell if some of the issues I have are unique to this game or just standing out more because the game is all modern and HD looking.

I've just gotten to world 3. It's pretty fun but definitely missing a lot of polish. So far I'd put it below Kazooie but above Tooie.
