i didn't fall, just slid a tad.

however, how my body caught itself somehow resulted in me fucking my left knee up.

my left leg didn't even fucking move. the only thing that happened was my right leg slid out and my torse twisted to the right.

it hurts to raise my left leg. i'm going with my knee since that's where the pain is when i move it.

It sounds like however you slip resulted in all the twist being centered in your left knee. If the pain persists or worsens, see a doctor.

A pop, followed by pain and swelling of the knee are the most common symptoms of an ACL tear.

you know what, it does kinda feel the same as my right leg did after i got hit by a car when walking across the street 9 or so years ago. except i couldn't even walk or move the thing without wanting to cry. a few days later i could walk on it, but it hurt about the same as my left leg does now.
