Besides the obvious shoe-ins, I can't think of much to recommend here at the moment.

PS1:
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
- Crash Bandicoot
- A Mega Man X game that isn't 4
- Final Fantasy 9
- maybe Spyro

That sounds good enough, don't care about anything else.

This is probably true. Granted, the great N64 games were amazing, but I don't even think I thoroughly enjoyed 30 of them.

Hell, I might be hard pressed to come up with 30 games.

I agree. I'm sure part of it is not growing up with a lot of the games but the 30 they have are very underwhelming. Though you can mod it to get like 600 NES and SNES games.

maybe, but the entire premise of the topic is based on what games would make a limited cut, since that's how the nes mini worked, a functionality she clearly doesn't know about. Didn't stop her from posting nonsense though and I just thought it was funny to point that out.

N64 and PS1 "minis" are completely pointless. Just as the NES Classic is. A lot of the games for PS1 are easily available from the PS store. I don't think Sony would bother producing a mini console for a handful of games that aren't on PSN. They seem to want to go more digital with games.

Nintendo made the NES as a collectors item solely. They don't seem to want it to be a common toy.
