If it happens, great. If it doesn't happen, great. Against. It's a filthy act. Strongly against. Anyone who engages in such filth will burn in hell forever. View Results So in this scenario, prostitution has become legalized and heavily regulated. The, uh, how do I put this delicately, "people of the dark" (we'll just refer to them as PotDs for now) are presumed to be clean (brighter minds than mine will establish some system to ensure the PotDs are clean - testing after every client is probably impractical and expensive). Those who come down with something are not allowed to be seen until their situations are cleared (if possible). The violence involved with the current state of illegal prostitution has dissipated. The industry is taxed at a pretty high rate, so general infrastructure can benefit (a la Colorado and weed). It wouldn't solve all the problems (cigarettes and booze are legal and they have plenty of problems with counterfeiting and such) and it would be strange for there to be a government office of prostitution but whatever. I wouldn't ever use it though. I have nothing against it but it's pretty pointless for me. Having sex with someone who has no feelings for me (and I have no feelings of any kind for either) is like going into a restaurant and paying to get immediately full without actually eating any food. I'm not interested in prostitution myself, since giving pleasure is just as important to me, and I would only want to sleep with someone who wanted to sleep with me (and not get paid for it lol). Still I'm totally for legalizing it as it would prevent crime and make money/more taxes etc. It would probably stop or at least reduce sex trafficing etc as well, and it's just silly for it not to be legal. Hopefully it would stop pimps etc getting girls addicted to drugs etc to control them etc, and just make life over all better for many people. Also probably help stop the spread of STDs as well if it is monitored (Even if it's only monthly tests etc).
