I usually stick with Liara, especially if I'm doing a regular BroShep playthrough.

I also am partial to the Jack romance, especially if my Shepard is paragon.

Purposely did Tali on my playthrough, because I loved her character when I first watched a playthrough of the trilogy. Getting the drunk Tali calling me her boyfriend in ME3 was totally worth it.

Was a close one though. Thought I was being a friend to Jack, until I turned her down and she only yelled "Fuck off" to me the rest of the playthrough. Same with Cortez. Was just trying to be a bro to a recent widow, not even realizing a side character could be romanced.

Yeah I wish it was a bit less subtle with that. Almost had the same problem on my current playthrough.

On my first run just going in blind I romanced Liara in 1 and then Tali in 2 + 3.

Ashley just didn't appeal to me at all so I went with the blue alien chick.

I didn't think Tali really had a personality in 1 at all. She felt like a walking encyclopedia on her race, but I thought she was adorable in 2. Even now it's my favorite romance option.

I've played the games multiple times, so I've seen most of 'em but Tali will always be the best girl.

I romanced Liara because there were only two choices in 1, then I stuck with Liara because I'm not going to cheat on my girl

Jack because I was curious about what the fuck would happen with her.

I totally forgot about Kaidan coming on to me in ME3, as male Shepard. Being not a dick to everybody on your crew has them all throwing themselves at you by the end.

If you lock in a romance before having that conversation with Kaidan on the Citadel you get a better version where he just wanted to go out to dinner with his bro. "You're my brother, Kaidan."

yep. not even shepard is that plot armoured.

there is a way to get her killed, but you need to have the lowest EMS possible and the extended cut dlc

I've romanced Tali and Liara on different playthroughs.

I like the Tali romance the best. I've never done a Femshep run, but if I did I'd definitely romance Garrus.

On my renegade FemShep play through I romanced Jacob because I wanted to see if he was interesting, like, at all.

Boy did I regret that.

Then in ME3, you basically become his sidechick and he dumps you.

She also dies in some of the endings. I know the "Refusal" ending has a hologram of her thousands of years into the future talking about how they lost to the reapers. Can't remember if it's implied she dies in any others.

You can have a one night stand with her in the Citadel DLC iirc but only if you flirted with her in ME2. I think.

I just remembered if you keep Kaidan alive through the trilogy he comes on to you out of nowhere near the end, regardless if you're MaleShep or FemShep. What gets me is that at no other point does he hint that he's bi or flirt with MaleShep at any point. So you're just kinda sitting there "Is this real right now?"
