While I loved FFXV many things didn't sit right with me on it. After playing the other two big JRPG series recent releases its sad to see just how outclassed FFXV was. Great game but for me clearly bottom of the three. What about y'all?

Played 'em all.

Gameplay: P5>Berseria>FF15
Berseria would be #1 if the difficulty was balanced better, and if Velvet wasn't the strongest Tales character ever made. FF15 is just so shallow for a real-time action game.

Characters: Berseria>FF15>P5
Love Berseria's cast more than any other Tales game. FF15 had a very solid core team. P5 is very much hit or miss, with special note on Morgana, Yusuke, and Makoto being my least favorite. Especially Makoto; Mitsuru pulled off the smart, 3rd year, student council president role so much better.

Story: P5>Berseria>FF15
This isn't taking into account the social link stuff in P5, which I honestly don't much care for. Berseria was a notch above Graces, Xillia, and Zestiria. FF15 is just crap.

Music: P5>FF15>Berseria
Though I'd say the soundtrack for P5 is overall noticeably weaker than P3 and P4. FF15 was surprisingly weak as well. Berseria... nothing is memorable about its music.

Nothing against Tales of Berseria, but Persona 5 is a JRPG juggernaut.

I refuse to spend money on Final Fantasy XV. Nomura can keep his head up his own ass.

I thought most of the social link story lines were better than they've ever been but yeah your main cast has some major duds. Yusuke and Ann are so useless and boring. At least Makoto is an all around badass.

I quite like Morgana so I don't understand that sentiment.

Haven't played P5 so I guess my answer is Berseria. I have a strong preference for action rpgs though so my answer would likely stay the same even after playing P5. XV had a lot of potential but too many aspects of it were disappointing so I'm pretty sure that's behind the other two.

Yeah I ended up voting Berseria. Mostly because i prefer the characters in it to the ones in P5. I also do tend to prefer ARPGs.

It helps that Berseria is a solid entry into the Tales series. Very enjoyable all throughout, and pretty challenging if you're not clawing everything to pieces with Velvet haha

I haven't played any Persona games, but it sounds like P5 is more newb-friendly so maybe I'll give it a shot one day. I have played SMT4 though, and I died quite a bit, but I started to get the hang of it down the road!

I've only played Persona 5 and Final Fantasy XV so voted Persona 5. Final Fantasy XV was too rushed to be anything great and Persona 5 beats it in every way.
