You and a small team of your buddies/colleagues, some of which are supsciously good looking skinny young women find yourself trapped in a desolate isloated large location like a factory or a sawmill or a mansion or a farmhouse or an oil rig. With very little or no outside communicaiton/Internet.

You are then promplty seperated and are attacked by horrible monster zombie creatures/slimey oozey things with only a pistol, very limited ammo and whatever you find on the floor. Having to solve box pushing puzzles and restore power to generators and find out the mystery of whatever is happening , turns out someone betrayed you and injected the T-virus into a puppy or something for no logcal reason. Then everyone involved left parts of their journals lying around on the floor for you to piece it together

Do you think you would survive? If not, what do you think would be your limit?

Well, I wouldn't be an idiot that would run around looking for keys when I could just blast the lock off a door.

I don't think that would work.

I can only think of one instance in RE where they successfully brute force a door and that was the Jill Sandwich

Most of the doors in the mansion looked weak enough that a shotgun blast right to the lock would have opened it up.

I'd probably survive for a little bit but end up getting killed by some kind of trap.

You forget, it was set up by umbrella.

And those doors would still buckle to a shotgun blast almost point blank. There is a reason why they use shotguns to breach doors in SWAT situations.

Realistically, it would be easy because the games were not realistic at all. Like Hash-Brown said, you could brute force through most doors. Not to mention real hand to hand combat with the zombies or using surrounding objects to fend them off... or crawling up high to get away, etc. I love RE, but the earlier games were stupid for these very limitations.

Aren't RE zombies incredibly slow and stupid?

I think I could last a while unless I have to run through a town with like 100k of them running around.

These aren't normal doors bro. It's Resident Evil.

You can fire your shot-gun at those doors point blank in the games and nothing happens
