He was signing things, so I had him sign a mini-poster that came with my Atari 5200, which was the first video game system I had. I hoped he was going to be like, "Oh my god, how did you deal with a system like that?", but he didn't have much to say. I asked him if he ever got to play his Atari 5200, and he said he thought he did, but that he didn't have many games for it. So it was kind of underwhelming.

For what it's worth, I never had any trouble with my Atari 5200 controllers. Maybe they've degraded over time; I don't know because I've forgotten how to set the system up and might not even be able to with my current TVs.

I met him at a convention. There were a few other people with him. Maybe one of them was Mike; I haven't watched enough Cinemassacre videos other than AVGN ones to recognize the other people on the channel.

I never met him before, but everyone I talk to say he is pretty cool, albeit kind of quiet. I have met a bunch of other Youtubers and I wish I had a story about how some of them are assholes but honestly they are all pretty cool. I think they realize that without their fans they wouldn't really be successful so they want people to have a good opinion of them.

Only one I met who was kind of an ass wast Ryan from Cinemassicare, but I wouldn't really consider him a "Youtuber", more of just an employee of James and Mike.

Most YouTubers (well, at least gaming YouTubers) have a bunch of cringey fans, so I imagine they're pretty used to having to keep their composure. If you remotely resemble a normal, socially well-adjusted person it's probably pretty hard for them to be an asshole to you.



Anyways, congrats TC on meeting James. I think it would be kind of cool to meet him but at the same time I'd probably just be like "whatever" since I've also heard he's pretty quiet and shy.

Rolfe is wonderful when he starts talking about the stuff he really loves.
