Standards of purity are different for whites and non-whites in U.S. society. The old one-drop rule meant you weren't white if you were even 1/8th black. Conversely, being 7/8ths white didn't seem to dilute one's blackness.

It's why there's disingenuousness whenever people talk about Obama as "just as much white as he is black;" that's never meant anything.

Alternately: the people talking about white genocide simply do not care about the destruction of other races; whiteness has a value in their minds that requires preservation in a way that blackness does not.
