IIRC, the original premise of the series was supposed to simply be about a kid detective, & everything else was added by the manga author's publisher, so Conan/Shinichi will probably never resolve his issue, until the author finally loses interest in writing it. --- Remember kids, it's only an RPG until someone gets hit with a meteor; Then it's a JRPG!
