I was never really close with my main family since the day I was born. We never talk for more than 5-30 seconds unless it's 100% super important which is like once every 6 months and those conversations would last 2-4 minutes. I think people used the word estranged when describing these relationships but how can someone be estranged when there was absolute zero connection before? And the strange thing is we lived in the same house for 20 years and still do. I haven't talked with my other family like cousins, aunts, etc. in 10 years and you guessed it, we weren't close.

I think that is the reason why I never developed social skills as a kid and still to this day. You develop these things early on in your life. Like that one girl who was left alone and locked in a room since she was born or at a very young age and no one talked to her. Her brain was fucked up and she can't talk normally. I forgot her name but that's just an example of how important it is to be not neglected at a young age. Now I'm a weird anti social dude with almost no social skills. At work I talk to my co workers but it's mostly about work as well as simple shit like sports.

Yeah so I am a lonely ass dude. I'm not depressed and I am actually kinda happy most of the time playing video games and watching shows. I work at a job that gets me $25k/year after all deductions and if I really wanted to I could get a second job which would probably add another $5k/yr after deductions.

But just curious is there anyone I can talk to IRL and get them to help guide me and hold my hands through the process on buying a home/condo? I'd probably need them to come with me just so I don't get screwed over. Maybe like a lawyer, someone from the bank or some other people who assists first time buyers? I wasn't taught how to survive in the real world on my own but I just want to gtfo of my parent's house and be on my own. Maybe then I can break out of my shell. I got a credit score of high 700s, never late on payment, etc. Lets say I want to get a condo that's $400-500k, how much money you guys think I need to save up before I can get a loan from the bank then buy a condo for around $400-500k? And no, apartments are not an option. Too many cons including money wasted on something I won't own, most likely move 30 times if I decide only to live in apartments my whole life, greedy ass people renting out apartments could demand a leg and ball sack worth of payment, etc.

please don't blame your family or equate your situation to something that actually was tragic and reprehensible like that girl's

you had plenty of opportunities to learn social skills at school and/or wherever else

I took a pre-homeowners class and they told me that if I wanted a $80,000 house and only put down a 3% fiwnpayment, I would need at least about $12,000 I'm the bank after all is said and done (closing costs, inspection, etc). I live alone in a $800 per month apartmne, plus my regular bills. How the hell an I suppose to afford that?
