Memes dissing feminism are contributed to by:
-trolls who just want to rustle jimmies with incredibly easy bait
-actual fedora tipping misogynists who straight up don't like the concept of women's rights
-and...hold up...rational critics of radical feminism gone wrong.

Yeah, yeah it is. It's just the ugly hypocritical extremist section of it.
Almost every huge group centered on a standard set of beliefs has a portion of it that takes things to extremes.
You can cry they're not true Scotsmen until blue in the face, but what they're doing is still technically feminism.
It's just been taken to stupid extreme degrees.

The question you're supposed to ask yourself is: do you agree with all or most of the sentiments of that militant fringe?

People who want equity between the genders will typically say no.
But you might be surprised how many will say yes thinking it's justified for reasons.

Naturally there's going to be political commentary poking fun at this online. And memes are an easy way to do it. For every dozen misogynistic anti-feminist memes that appear, there's going to be 1 or 2 memes that look similar yet make a valid point in regards to advocates of feminism being hypocrites. It's important to recognize the difference, at least if you actually care about feminism. Some of those sassy memes criticizing extremist rhetoric are other feminists themselves...

You know how words and things evolve into different meaning? Well feminism is one of those things. Originally feminism was solely about having equal rights for women. That means they were no better or lesser than men. That's it. Modern society of that definition has changed greatly by what is spewing out for people to see. I think we all know this.
