If they start in my territory i just gently move them away. My territory is my couch, keyboard, and monitor. Anywhere else is fine. Heck i even had one on my monitor for a week. Then some other asshole spider came and fought him. The asshole spider left and he stayed for another day before leaving.

One year I had my bedroom windows open in summer to cool the room. I had a lot of insects sneak in through the windows, the resident spiders noticed, feasted, and bred like rabbits. I think I had over one hundred spiders in my bedroom that year. It was glorious.

Nope. If they're big I'll put them outside, as there aren't enough bugs in my place to eat. If they're small or if the weather's nasty, they stay inside.
I don't get why spiders, of all things, have a bad rap. They don't make annoying sounds like flies, most don't bite like mosquitoes, they don't get in the food or spread disease or eat your clothes. They hang around in out-of-the-way spots doing their own thing, their webs (the closest things they have to nests) are super-easy to remove (and kind of amazing to look at) and they don't destroy things to make them the way mice/termites/ants/nearly everything else does, and best of all, they hunt and kill most of the other bugs that actually do cause damage. They are the ideal house-mates. Unless you live somewhere where poisonous spiders are common, there's no reason to ever squish them. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Fun fact: our eyes are hard wired to pick up the shape of a spider.
There was an experiment where people stared at a screen that showed random images for a 1/10 of a second. People always pushed the button that indicated they saw something when a spider was flashed. So you are more likely to avoid stepping on a spider than something else that is dangerous like a syringe. --- Nobody is perfect. Well, one guy was but we killed him. ... Copied to Clipboard!
