I used to look at the world, and think "it ain't so hard to be a somebody."
I used to be among the best in my class, always told I was destined to go somewhere.
I used to dream big, used to think I would do something.

As I went further in life, grouped with the other believers, I realized the truth,
I am average - oh so painfully average.

I used to not know the truth, but now I do:
I'm a nobody,
Going nowhere,
Bound to do nothing.

so did I. Now I realize that life is either a room with the walls closing in, nothing to look forward to when you are squished out of existence; or that I am going to Hell and suffering forever as I cannot get myself to believe or love a God such as described in the Bible.

what if you are going to hell because you decided that God must be the one in the bible and not the one named Bhudda?

Then it is all the same, I am suffering forever, no ounce of happiness or relief will ever come again. The pain will be inescapable.
