Brotherhood, but up to that certain point, the original is quite capable and Brotherhood assumes some familiarity with it in its quest to speed through to new content.

2003 has some great moments but it's definitely Brotherhood IMO

If Brotherhood hadn't sped through the early parts, it would be the complete replacement for FMA.

i enjoyed the original more, probably because of some combination of my standards rising, and the second time seeing something generally being less impactful. but if i watched the original again it would probably be worse than Brotherhood.
