Day 1

Ok so not much actually happened day 1. I had to work and then go to the doctor so I didn't actually make it until around 5pmish.

-Checked it vendors for a while
-Watched a Pokemon game show
-Bought a handmade stuffed Dragon Quest Slime
-Got Japanese burritos for dinner (apparently that's a thing)
-Watched some people talk about Steven Universe in a panel called "Gay Space Rocks"
-Watched some Food Wars!

Had to leave kind of early (left around 11, but event goes till 2) because I had work at 6 again this morning. Going after work again tonight and all day Sunday

The biggest event of day 1 was Cosplay Burlesque, which was basically what it sounds. Strippers dressed as fictional characters doing stage performances alternating between sexy and hilarious

One of the really cool things about it was the variety they had going on with the performers. Some thin, some chubby, some guys, some girls, one in drag, etc. The star of the show was actually a really heavyset girl who dominated the stage when she was up

Tina Belcher (Bob's Burgers) stripping for a ghost boyfriend in a box
JoJo and girl from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure whose name I can't remember (JJBA)
Amethyst (Steven Universe)
Queen Xenomorph
The Death Star
Sonya Blade (Mortal Kombat)

The best one was actually from some anime I didn't recognize. She did a strip dance version of a magical girl transformation that was admittedly like startlingly hot.

Then the show closed with the heavyset girl dancing as Sonic the Hedgehog to a remix of Don't Stop Me Now that got a standing ovation

Already, Zenkaikon is done, so here's everything else, for all the many people reading this topic.

Day 2

Worked until around 2, got there around 3:30ish.
-Stand-up Comedy from Uncle Yo
-Watched some of an anime theme karaoke contest
-Cosplay Masquerade - This was probably the "main event" of the con. A bunch of cosplayers doing brief skits on stage (the quality of which was pretty mixed) followed by displays of some extensive cosplays and anime music videos
-Panel on some of the worst B-Horror (Troll 2, Death Bed, etc.)
-"Guests Against Humanity" - Ellen McLain, John Patrick Lowrie, and Uncle Yo playing Cards Against Humanity live with a handful of audience groups. It was honestly pretty hilarious hearing Cards Against Humanity in GLaDOS' voice

Day 3

Shorter day, ended around 4pm
-Cosplay Pro Wrestling - What it sounds like. Arena, refs, and all.
-Orange Box Power Hour - Got to meet Ellen McLain (GLaDOS) and John Patrick Lowrie (TF2's Sniper). They talked about the games, sang some songs from their upcoming game The Church in the Darkness, and Ellen sang the ending songs of both Portal games (in GLaDOS voice)
-Checked out more vendors, got loot
-Panel about Overwatch's timeline. Interesting stuff, but not the best presenter tbh

Cosplay Pro-Wrestling

Three-way elimination between Mario, Luigi and Link. Luigi won by cheating.

Deadpool v. Hagrid, Deadpool won by just taking a ton of damage before ultimately knocking Hagrid out

Iron Fist v. Finn the Human

C.M. Pikachu v. HBK Sylveon (played by a very large man in pink briefs and a ribbon) turned into a 6-man tag team of Pikachu/Sylveon/Uncle Yo v. Giovanni & two Team Rocket grunts
