Did you like it? I thought it was awesome. And the end, when I started hearing the sound of the music to Unbreakable at the station, I knew!

I had the Unbreakable thing spoiled on CE and I'm still fucking pissed about it. I know I would have shat tons of bricks had I went in completely blind.

Yeah I know the feeling. I had The Sixth Sense spoiled for me back in the day. It's a freaking miracle I didn't know about this because I really enjoy Unbreakable. I heard it was supposed to be a trilogy but just let go. Then POW!

So just us two then I guess...

I enjoyed it, solid performance.

I have yet to see it but I still want to. I spoiled myself on the twist, but I don't think it affects the movie itself, it's just a cool additional thing so it's fine.

yea, that it was set in the same universe as Unbreakable.

and there's a fan theory that Kevin's (the side with the multiple personalities) dad died in the same train crash that Bruce Willis's character survived, meaning that Mr. Glass inadvertently set Split's events into motion.

I got the twist spoiled for me :(

When I read thought on the movie from other people they mentioned that the beast didn't eat the last girl because she cut herself. I thought those were wounds from her uncle. What o you guys think?

I was also able to catch that the kid personality said that Kanye was his favorite. In Throught the Wire Kanye said,

"I must got a angel, ‘cause look how death missed his ass
Unbreakable, what you think they call me Mr. Glass?"

I also hope we get to see more personalities in the next one.

I read that then someone pointed out that his fathar died when he was around 3 and the train crashed happened about 15 years ago. That'd only be valid if James Mcavoy character was about 19.

Cool theory, didn't think of that. But yeah the twist was that this is the very long awaited sequel to Unbreakable, delivered as a silent bomb (in a good way). Samuel Jackson was once asked a few years ago about Unbreakable. He said it was supposed to be a trilogy and that he was still waiting for Shamylan to get back to him. So my jaw dropped when I realized it was back on at the ending of Split.

I watched Unbreakable last night and when David was trying to hone his instinct power her bumped into a woman in her "sin" was beating her son.
