I haven't played the other two games

I will say that it is surprising that they have ff7 so low. And the have vesperia lower than symphonia which I disagree with.

But yeah, symphonia is way better than ff7. I did not like ff7 at all

There are a lot of games better than FFVII, though. It's not even the best JRPG of its generation, or the best Final Fantasy game.

This is clearly a list of the top 100 RPGs in no particular order.

IGN are a bunch of chuckle f***s. In the FF9 entry they imply that FF1 came out in 1997, and the Fire Emblem entry uses FE7's release date, FE1's box art, and FE13's series cancellation quote factoid.

Tales is better than FF VII and Xenoblade is DEFINITELY better. Never played Stardew, didn't look interesting at all.

FF VII is tied w/ OoT for most overrated game of all time, it's a pretty mediocre RPG that's completely inferior in every way to its own predecessor in the series (just like OoT, in fact...), I'd put dozens of RPGs ahead of it.
They put Legend of Dragoon and Super Mario RPG lower than FF VII, that's wrong.

The Legend of Dragoon follows Dart, a traditional RPG protagonist who just really can’t catch a break. His parents are killed, his hometown is destroyed — twice — and on his way home from a journey to avenge them he’s attacked by a really cool dragon named Sandora.

It's named Feyrbrand, damn it!

Looks like the list isn't complete yet, but aside from some obvious big names that will be at the top of the list (like Chrono Trigger), what the actual fuck at none of these appearing yet:
ANY Suikoden game!
Radiant Historia
FF VI and Tactics (since they have so many FF entries already, I wonder if either will be left out)
Seiken Densetsu 3
Baten Kaitos Origins or EW & LO (the first game of the series)

Are you implying that Xenoblade Chronicles is better than Xenogears, or any of the games in the Xenosaga trilogy?

Also the only FF game before VII that's any good is FFV. The others are mostly forgettable, and VI is extremely overrated (Chrono Trigger is far, far superior).

Yes, because XBC equals or beats them in everything other than plot. I still like them a lot though.

I don't like Final Fantasy that much, but FFVI was the interesting one in that era.
Chrono Trigger is boring by today's standards, and is relying way too much on Toriyama art and nostalgia to survive. Phantasy Star 4 is superior to it, and it did combo attacks first.
