Well, in all fairness, it's a whole team, and they have a CYA disclaimer that every mod has a different interpretation of the rules.

I personally think that's bullshit, and there should be far more to the eval system to prevent an echo chamber, but remember these are volunteer gigs. They aren't paid to do this, so while I want to say most take it seriously, at the end of the day it's just some random dude the site trusts a tiny bit more than your average member.
