I forgot the details, but basically it was a day where tons of people committed account suicides by posting boobs and nudes and stuff on May 5th, 2007. I think like 60 accounts were banned that day lol. Everyone then called that day CEnco de Mayo.
From that day onwards, every year people would try to recreate it on May 5th, but mods were always on high alert and would quell any signs of a suicide. Eventually it died down to the point where May 5th was just another normal CE day, but never forget our fallen brothers in arms! please don't post tos-unfriendly stuff btw >_> --- ... If I remember, Ceej made a sticky saying he had an important announcement similar to LUE when it was set to private, but then it was just a joke topic and it hit the record at the time for fastest to 500.

If it happened today, it would be a bunch of dick pics instead. A significant chunk of CE is gay, and and even more significant chunk still thinks pretending to be gay is edgy for some reason.

I remember. It was a a weekend night iirc. Seems like Cjay got notice of the situation and made a thread himself just saying "Go" and it reached 500 in a few minutes. Same as the other suicide topics.
