The storytelling is basically an extremely slow simmer until it gets to a boil (and boils over). It's never truly boring though. Even the "Fly" episode had its place. Seems a lot of people these days don't have the patience or attention span to appreciate truly good storytelling like this. It was a bit cartoonish. I felt like their only purpose was to set up Walt and Jesse's final confrontation. Season 5B was more like Walt vs. Hank than Walt vs. the Nazis. Not really, I mean the Nazis are our finale. But there was never really a question of if Walt could take down the Nazis, everyone knew they were fucked.
