I don't think had a normal Vanilla Wafer by itself for over half a decade, I have eaten banana pudding with them in it.

I used to have a babysitter that would turn the so the flat side was up and put homemade chocolate icing or something like that on them. They were yummy. I mostly use them in banana pudding.

Vanilla wafers are the snack you eat when it's just sitting there but doesn't really quite qualify as a snack you'd go out of your way for.

I bought some for the first time a couple months ago when I was getting nostalgic over childhood snacks. I had them pretty often as a kid, but never really thought to buy them for myself.

They were alright, but I thought they were too sweet for a normal snack and not palate-cleansing enough for a desert

I am not a big fan of vanilla. I'll eat it if the other choices suck but I won't go out of my way to eat it. That said, vanilla wafers are alright, not something usually eat. I like savory over sweet for snacks.
