What I find disturbing is that their stupid followers are willing to buy a product that they were paid to promote.

The formula for Instagram success is pretty simple.

>be hot
>post revealing pics
>get paid a ton of money to promote a product.

$10k to reach several million viewers doesn't seem like a bad investment as far as advertisements go. That's like paying a penny per person reached. Granted, I'm not sure how effective the ads themselves are, but still.

This, tbh. Most of their critics are just jealous that they either never thought of it or can't do it. Instagram's influencers had the vision and the cajones to to do something with their lives and are just reaping the rewards. Frankly, they'd be stupid not to take the money.
