I didn't see one, so here it is.

I feel the NDP will win my riding and the Liberals will win the province. *shrugs*

I hope it's either of those. I'm planning on moving out to Vancouver soon. Part of my decision is moving away from a ridiculously conservative province that keeps fucking up everything because of its ridiculous, short-sighted, dumbass, regressive, economy tanking policies.

Me too. That's why me and the missus are planning to migrate to BC. I want to move to the coast, and somewhere that has a bit more opportunity.

My riding is going liberal (chilliwack).

Hoping for a liberal minority with a green balance. I cannot support the provincial ndp (I have voted ndp federally but provincially I dislike them intensely)

Not really. All the industries (by that I mean, the only industries Sask invested in; oil and potash) started crashing last year. The province is in massive debt and the government is completely cutting funding to everything because they saved $0 and lined their pockets for the past five years of growth. Sure, you can afford a house if you come from somewhere else, but good luck getting a decent paying job in this economy. I've been out of university for like six months, and haven't got one call back because my industry is completely collapsing here.

Now that I'm back living in Ontario I feel the need to state this

fuck Kathleen Wynne

The provincial Libs need to get the hell out for a few years.

The only downside is, I absolutely do not want the PCs in.

And the NDP doesn't seem to have much of a chance

Not really. There is a huge racism problem against immigrants and especially against First Nations. The politics are distinctly against things like drug treatment, planned parenthood, and social programs to help the impoverished. The politicians are ridiculously corrupt; they constantly hire their friends, squander money, and cut funding to any program that doesn't instantly make them money. They also are ridiculously bad with money. The cops have huge problems with racism; there is actually a term here for taking drunken FN youth out of the city in -40* and leaving them to walk home (it's called a starlight tour). We also have the highest rate of HIV and drunk driving. The people can be friendly, but if you look different or aren't white, you can basically expect to be treated with suspicion and subtle hostility. The small towns (like Corner Gas) are also ridiculously xenophobic and are basically formed around cliquey families that feud and have lived there since confederation. Oh, and woe to you if you even suggest that farmers are not the most important people on the planet. Plus, the winters are insanely coled (-50* is normal and it lasts from September to March) and the summers are freakishly hot (and last about a month and a half), all with zero scenery (unless you like scummy lakes and fields).

Because I still remember the 90s and to be honest I don't like their economic policy and I don't like the idea of running huge deficits.

Both parties were doing blatant carrot dangling but I'll fall back on "better the devil you know than the devil you dont"

42 seats liberal, 42 ndp and 3 green.

generally in a tie, incumbency decides, ie. since the liberals held the most seats prior, they would hold on to the premier for now

Well either the greens support one party or the other. It could go either way.

At the moment there are 3 or 4 ridings where the two parties are like 200 votes apart. This is a really interesting election compared to 2013.

lol. This is FPTP, popularity means nothing. The greens have like 40% of the popularity of the other 2 and they get 3 seats vs 40+. I hate FPTP.

Which it could. One riding was like 9 votes for the NDP or something? So recount and absentee ballots. Apparently it's also a military place with a former military guy running of the Liberals? Forget the details. I do hope it stays as a minority. And nobody better cross the floor in a power grab.
