In baseball, it's a pretty rare thing if a pitcher completes a game without the opponent getting a single hit. The "Perfect Game" is more rare, which is no hits or walks after a complete game.

He has two innings to go to reach a feat not many pitchers achieve in their career.

There has to be more than one pitcher on a team. Right...? Does he just keep going till he messes up and then someone else takes his place?

1) That was against the Cardinals, I believe, and also the only one in Mets franchise history. I remember I was cheering against my own home team because I wanted to see that no-hitter happen.
2) He threw 134 pitches that night and basically ruined his arm to get the no-hitter, so it was bittersweet. He was never the same after that.

Unless he's doing really well or really poorly, the starting pitcher usually lasts about 6 or 7 innings. When they take the starting pitcher out, they have relief pitchers that they put in. They also have closers whose job is to pitch the final inning or so of the game.

In addition to what else was said, at times like this, when they are playing at an elite level, sometimes they can pitch the entire game themselves. Also, total pitch count is considered, when a starting pitcher starts getting around 100 pitches in a game, for the sake of the health of their arm, they are typically pulled for a relief pitcher even if they are pitching well. In rare instances, even if the pitcher has a rare no hit game going, but their pitch count is very high, they can still be pulled to avoid injury.
